I love to draw, be it pastels, watercolors, acrylics or any medium. I enjoy the loose texture and sketchy feel of a drawing. I often sketch in watercolor or graphite then continue with pastels for the finished painting. My favorite subject matter is the figure with the play of color and light on the face or body. Lately that subject matter has gone to the dogs, literally, in loose expressive watercolors.  Ultimately I am fascinated with the natural beauty all around me and then recreating an image in whatever medium it inspires.
